Viewing a seasons game allocations

Allocating games across specific venues, courts and times occurs after games have had a fixture generated.  There are four ways to allocate a game:

This guide covers viewing Allocations by month or game slots.   

To locate game allocations 

  • Navigate to the Competition Management menu.
  • Select the competition and season.
  • Select the Allocations tab
  • The months in which your games are fixtured will display. Expand a month to view the allocations required for that month.

Games sub-tab

The Games sub-tab is the default view of the Allocations tab. The Game Slots sub-tab is generally for domestic competitions and is used to assign game times and venues across the entire season.

This icon highlights that there are game clashes within this month.
Tip: Expand the month to view which dates have clashing games, and the clash icon (!) will display next to those dates and games.

Minimised month
Only months with games fixtured in them will display.

Allocation states within a month
All games allocated - the date is highlighted green to indicate that all the games have been allocated.
Games need allocating - the date remains white to indicate that there are still games that require allocation.


Game slot allocation

The game slot view allows you to view and allocate unallocated games.  Click here to learn more on how to allocate games using the game slot allocation.

Once the ''View'' button is selected, the following screen and information will be displayed.

Grades
Multiple grades will list here if they have allocations for the same day.
ii
Slots
This lists the number of slots generated for this day. Allocating your game based on slots means that all games will follow these parameters:
  • All games are at the same venue
  • All games are on the same day
  • All games are at the same time 
  • All games are for an entire season

Status
The allocation status will display and an overview can be found here.

Undo
Appears next to a Status when a change has been made.
On selection, it removes any changes made and the information reverts back to the last saved state.

Venue
This drop-down only displays the pre-selected venues that were chosen during the season setup. To add venues not listed in this drop-down, read the selecting the venues used in a season guide.

Court
This field is enabled once the venue is selected and only the courts that are available at that venue are displayed.

Start time
Setting your start time automatically calculates the game end time based on the duration of the match when you set your Grade Game day settings. The game slot time can be amended You can revise them in your Game Settings, under Total court time (mins).

The time is set in 5-minute increments, meaning you cannot have 5:43 but it can be either 5:40 or 5:45.


Game slot allocation, Calendar View

Similar to allocating games using the Calendar View, calendar clashes can be resolved by dragging and dropping the games to available slots. 

The example below displays unsaved game slot allocations that do not have a game slot clash. Click Update changes to save the changes.
